The choreography by Latarro has Tony Award written all over it. It’s a fabulous movement suite with a confident 50’s strut but also a constant lurching backward that brilliantly explicated and intensifies the material. Emotionally intensity that has an innate sense of stakes. Hard to recall a group of dancers bringing greater narrative weight since Twyla Tharp. It’s a sight to behold.
Epic level choreography of Lorin Latarro- the most inspired choreography since Jerome Robbins, and Bob Fosse. Enter the era of Lorin Latarro.
The storytelling gets a crucial assist from choreographer Lorin Latarro, who creates stage pictures that range from profoundly disturbing to benedictory.
Beautifully staged - ebullient knee slapping - knocks it out of the park.
The choreography was Enticing to watch and exactly what we all hoped we would get.
